Introduction weekend with Tinkers

This arrangement is extremely suitable for those who are curious about the breed and would like to gain further knowledge through practise. Irish Tinker horses are known for their quiet character and their eagerness to work. N nevertheless, it is advisable to inform yourself well about this horse. During this arrangement, you participate in the attending to the horses at the Jaskolka whereby you learn a lot about the contact, feeding, stabling, social behaviour and maintenance.

Next to being a vacation accommodation, Jaskolka is also a stud farm. At this stud farm, we breed Irish Tinker horses using own breeding mares and approved breeding stallions. The stallions are Picco and Bono. For descriptions and photos you can check our website (http://www.tinker.pl/). It does occasionally happen that we have an Irish Tinker horse for sale. Before deciding to buy an Irish Tinker Horse, one needs to get informed, thus it is very useful to obtain as much information as possible. Our staff has been working for years with Tinker horses and knows their character through and through. They are able to give an answer to most of your questions. There are different kinds of Tinker horses, and the Cob, Vanner and Grai. A detailed description is to be found at the website of the Dutch Studbook for Tinker Horses.

Certainly we are glad to sell you a Tinker horse if we have one for sale, but we find it more important to promote the breed and to make sure that you are aware of what you are buying and that you don’t have any unnecessary regrets later on.

Beside the Tinker horses, Jaskolka also owns a few Wielkopolski horses (warm blood) and at our farm, we are able to give you information about this breed as well.

For whom is this arrangement intended?

This arrangement is also suitable for those who would like to buy an Irish Tinker horse. During this arrangement, Jaskolka tries to give you a good idea about what to look out for when buying a Tinker horse. This includes the temperament, sex, character and colour preferences. These are all factors that play a role in choosing a Tinker horse. In addition, one is also given the opportunity to ride or harness a couple of horses (for sale). The Tinker is extremely suitable as a pulling horse as well as a riding horse. During riding one will discover on his own which horse suits him/her best. This arrangement holds no obligation whatsoever to buy a horse.

As far as the Wielkopolski horses are concerned, we can offer you the same service as with the Tinker horses. However, we hardly ever have this breed for sale, but we are able to provide you with addresses in Poland and possibly assist you during your purchase at another horse-breeding farm.

- There is no minimum/maximum number of people for this arrangement.

Dates from Friday up to Monday the whole year in consultation. Other beginning days also possible in consultation.

Price: 4 days familiarisation arrangement € 175.00 p.p.
Allowance 1 person chamber € 40, – -

If you should proceed to purchase a Jaskolka horse, you will receive half of the arrangement money back.

Included: 3 nights in a two-person chamber based on full board (incl. coffee and tea) from the dinner of the first day to the breakfast on the last day. The lunches depend on the schedule (vegetarian meals are possible in consultation). For two days there is a Dutch – or English supervision.

Not included: Drinks during your stay and mileage in case you should want us to take you to another horse-breeding farm.
